Janmastami celebrations
The spirit of devotion and festivity filled the air as Coast Guard Kindergarten, Meenambakkam, celebrated the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami with great enthusiasm and joy. The school was beautifully decorated with vibrant flowers, traditional lamps, and colorful balloons, setting the stage for the special celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth.

The little ones, dressed as Lord Krishna and Radha, were the highlight of the event. Adorned in bright costumes, peacock feathers, and flutes, the students brought the stories of Krishna’s childhood to life. The celebration began with a special prayer session where teachers narrated the tale of Lord Krishna’s birth and his divine deeds, imparting valuable lessons of truth, love, and righteousness.

The celebrations concluded with a special distribution of prasad (sweets), ensuring that the event ended on a sweet note. Through these festivities, the students learned the significance of Janmashtami and the values it promotes, making the day both educational and enjoyable.

Janmashtami at Coast Guard Kindergarten, Meenambakkam, was truly a memorable experience for the children, instilling in them a deep respect for cultural traditions while celebrating with joy and enthusiasm.
